Starry lights can be added to your ceiling or car headliner for an impressive effect that you can install yourself. Adding a starlight ceiling is easy to mount by drilling holes for the fiber optic lights to be inserted and plugging in the low voltage 12v illuminator.
Each fiber optic starlight kit comes with a wireless remote to operate the color changes and twinkle effect. Our starlight illuminators come with a light source that is a true 5-Watt LED for high brightness and a color wheel for clean, bright starry lighting. For additional brightness, a 10-watt LED light source is available with the FOC-KIT-1001DMX starlight kit.
The dual-port illuminator can run two fiber bundles using only a single power supply. Each port can support up to 400 fiber optic strands for a total of 800 fiber stars. You can mix and match the fiber bundles for the number of star lights you plan to add. The unit only requires a 12v power supply.
A choice from 100 star points to 800 stars is available from the pre-cut fiber bundles. A fiber bundle has several branches, each of which has a predetermined fiber cable length. They are not all the same length; this makes placing them in their allocated positions in the ceiling or on the car's headliner easier.
The fiber optic strands in each of the bundles we offer have a diameter of 0.75mm (0.0295"). For hard surfaces, use a 1mm (3/64") drill bit with an adhesive added on the back to secure the fiber. It is necessary to have a smaller diameter hole when installing into a fabric or curtain for a snug fit around the fiber strand.
Create a galaxy of star lights in your home: the home theatre room, media room, or even the car's headliner, as it creates many light points within a space for an inviting and mesmerizing effect on those who experience them; the light emitting from the stars creates an enchanting atmosphere.
