Have you ever wanted to light up an area and not worry about the lighting maintenance? A fiber optic downlighting system delivers light through fiber optic cables to 'LED free' light fittings. Yes, that's right, no LEDs in fiber optic end-fittings!
Illuminate a hallway or dark space with color to create a lovely ambiance or highlight features in your cabinet without radiating heat, just lovely ambient, soft glowing light that changes color too!
The fiber optic downlight kit uses a bundle of 5mm (outside diameter) fiber cables connected to the illuminator. Connect up to 25 light fittings by choosing the different bundle length options to suit your project. Each bundle has 5 light fittings and 5 fiber cables at various lengths.
The ILL-1001DMX illuminator uses a 10-watt LED as its light source to shine an array of 6 colors controllable via the wireless remote. Integration with home automation systems such as Dynalite, CBUS, Control4, and other RS232 and serial protocols is available via the optional DMX module purchased separately.
Running costs benefit from having a single light source. Light distribution to many points through non-powered fiber cables alleviates issues in comparison to when running several LED fittings. Improved maintenance benefits as there are no globes or LEDs in the fittings to replace and the illuminator is stored in a convenient and accessible location for any servicing or repairs that may be needed.
